At
one time Anaheim was
the state’s wine
capital but in the
1880s plant viruses
killed off most of the
grapes and the area
farmers began growing
oranges.
Then, in the
1950s both Disneyland
and the 5 Freeway came
to Anaheim and the
modern day Anaheim
real estate market was
born.
Today,
the diverse Anaheim
real estate market
includes million
dollar estate homes,
single-family
residences and
condominiums.
The area is
home to the Los
Angeles Angels,
formerly the Anaheim
Angels, a major
convention center, and
it is a leading
manufacturing center.
Lots of people
are drawn to the area
because of the jobs
and because
Anaheim’s central
location.
Anaheim
is the most populated
city in Orange County
and the most spread
out.
The Anaheim
real estate market is
partly located near
the Santa Ana River,
partly in the flat
areas and partly in
the hilly areas. There
are many residential
areas as one might
suppose in such a
large and diverse
city. In addition to
middle class
residential and
condominium areas,
Anaheim also includes
high end properties. |
